Unipacks Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 13th, 2026

Unipacks LLC is a Florida limited liability company. We sell in the United States only. This policy covers unipacks.shop and The Unipacks Playbook.

The short version

  • We collect your email, your order details, and basic site usage.
  • Three companies help us run the business: Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • What you type into the interactive tools stays in your browser. It never reaches us.
  • You can unsubscribe any time, and you can ask us to delete your data.

1. What we collect

When you join the email list

  • Your email address.
  • The page you came from.
  • Whether you open our emails and what you click.

When you buy

  • Your name.
  • Your email address.
  • Your billing address.
  • The last four digits of your card, the card brand, and whether the payment worked.
  • Order number, amount, tax, and date.
  • Refund and dispute records, if there are any.

We never see or store your full card number.

When you sign in

  • Your email address.
  • The 6-digit codes we send and when they were used.
  • Whether your account has access to the Playbook.

When you email us

  • Your address, your message, and anything you attach.

Automatically, when you visit

  • IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and time on the page.
  • Cookies. See Section 5.

2. What we do not collect

Your tool inputs. The 17 interactive tools do their math inside your browser. The numbers you type are not sent to us and are not stored on our servers. That includes income, aid amounts, loan balances, budgets, and salary offers. Close the tab and they are gone.

School records. We do not collect transcripts, test scores, FAFSA data, Social Security numbers, or anything from a school.

Sensitive categories. We do not collect race, health information, religion, biometrics, precise location, or government ID numbers.

3. Why we use what we collect

  • To deliver the Playbook and give you access to it.
  • To send your order confirmation and your sign-in codes.
  • To answer support emails and process refunds.
  • To send marketing emails, if you asked for them.
  • To work out and file sales tax.
  • To spot fraud and handle chargebacks.
  • To keep records the law says we have to keep.

4. Who else handles your information

These are the only companies that handle your personal information for us.

Shopify Inc. Runs our store, checkout, payments, customer accounts, and order records. See shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Klaviyo, Inc. Runs our email list. Holds your email address, whether you are subscribed, and your opens and clicks. See klaviyo.com/legal/privacy.

Google LLC (Google Workspace). Hosts our support@ and contact@ email. Any email you send us sits on Google's servers.

Each of these companies uses its own subprocessors. Their policies list them.

We also share information when the law requires it, when we need it to enforce our terms or defend a legal claim, and if the business is ever sold or merged. If a sale happens, we will post it here before your information moves.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Nobody pays us for your data.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies to:

  • Keep you signed in.
  • Remember your cart.
  • Count page visits so we know what is working.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block the sign-in cookie, you will not be able to stay signed in.

Do Not Track. Browsers can send a Do Not Track signal. There is no agreed standard for what a website should do with it, so we do not respond to it. We do not track you across other companies' sites, so there is nothing here for it to switch off.

Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of any sale or sharing of your data. We do not sell or share, so nothing changes on our end.

6. How long we keep it

  • Order and tax records: 7 years. Tax law requires this.
  • Account and access records: for as long as you have access, plus 2 years.
  • Email list: until you unsubscribe, plus 12 months.
  • Support emails: 3 years.
  • Site analytics: 14 months.

7. Your choices

Unsubscribe. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. It works right away. We will still email you about your order and your sign-in codes. Those are not marketing.

See it, fix it, or delete it. Email support@unipacks.shop and tell us what you want. We will do it within 30 days or tell you why we cannot. We offer this to everyone in the US, not only to people in states that require it.

One limit: we cannot delete order and tax records inside the 7-year window. We can delete everything else. Deleting your account also ends your access to the Playbook, and that cannot be undone.

Change the email on your order. Email support@unipacks.shop.

8. Security

We rely on the security built into Shopify, Klaviyo, and Google. Payment data never touches our own systems. Our admin accounts are protected with two-factor sign-in.

No system is perfectly secure and we are not going to claim otherwise. If a breach ever affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.

9. Children

The Playbook is sold to adults 18 and over. This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

The student who reads the Playbook is often 17. In our setup the student uses the account the adult buyer created, so we do not collect information from the student directly.

If you think a child under 13 has given us information, email support@unipacks.shop and we will delete it.

10. Where your data is

We sell in the United States only, and your data is processed in the United States. Please do not use this site if you are outside the US.

11. Changes to this policy

We will change the date at the top when we update this. If a change matters, we will email the people on our list.
